Our Story


Joshua’s Catering is a full service catering company that provides clients with delicious flavors, impeccable service and the best presentation.

We were one of the first companies in the Philadelphia area to embrace the locavore culture - recognizing the importance of natural, organic and locally grown foods and committing to a business model of sustainable practices.

Our commitment to our clients shows in the form of fresh and tasty seasonal ingredients - many locally sourced and our passion to create a beautiful event for you!


We are the exclusive caterers for two popular wedding venues; Ridgeland Mansion and Strawberry Mansion. We are also the preferred caterers for Durham Hill Farms, The Farm and Bakery, and Morris Arboretum. Check out the other venues that we have partnered with.


Joshua’s Catering is now a partner-owned business with Brian Hardaway as CEO, and Jennifer Alvarado as COO, Their vision for Joshua's is to continue to provide fresh and local ingredients, while also diversifying our client base.

The team at Joshua’s Catering is committed to operating a catering business that not only benefits our clients, but also our community and our planet. We value natural resources and as members of the Philadelphia Sustainable Business Network,


we constantly strive to find new ways to enhance our “green” practices by preparing foods using organic, natural and/or sustainably produced ingredients. We like to promote menus and food selections based on availability of seasonal, local and fresh ingredients. We also use containers that can be composted or recycled and/or that have been made from recycled materials.
